Welcome to 1932 Reserve: Restaurant and Lofts Osage Beach’s oldest hotel and tavern has been renovated into the most upscale lodging and dining experience at The Lake of the Ozarks. Originally built in 1932 by B. Ray Franklin, “Franklin’s Osage Beach Hotel”, is an architectural marvel.  The original project included 3 story concrete pillars, large steel beams, beautiful hardwood floors and stone harvested from Ha Ha Tonka.  These original materials have been painstakingly restored and surrounded by modern conveniences and gorgeous furnishings to produce The Reserve Lofts a distinct urban feel unlike anything at Lake of the Ozarks.

An upscale lodging and dining experience at the Lake of the Ozarks

A vividly artistic atmosphere with true Lake of the Ozarks energy.

Today the hotel has been renovated into 6 boutique lofts.  Ranging from a 6 bedroom Penthouse with a sunken living room and kitchen area, to a 1 bedroom ‘honeymoon’ suite with an original fireplace.  The Lofts have a  space for any size party.  Rent the whole space for a total of 17 bedrooms, 16 bathrooms. Included in each stay is a boat slip (for each unit rented) located just outside your private balcony. Enjoy a dip into The Lofts private  modern pool overlooking the lake or enjoy cocktails in the oversize hot tub located on the spacious patio with oversize loungers and a private bbq grill.  Truly an original experience the original décor with a modern twist will make you feel like you’re staying in a luxurious speak easy. Located in the heart of Lake of the Ozarks in Osage Beach, minutes from shopping, golf, dining, and all things “lake” (18 MM).  Ask about our packages that include wedding, golf, shopping, fine dining or wine tastings.  Walk down stairs to 1932 Reserve, an upscale "new american" farm to table, restaurant overlooking the lake.  Open daily for lunch and dinner.  Reservations recommended not required.  The original hotel featured 23 rooms with showers, a kitchen that was a “marvel of cleanliness”, and a small dock with boats for occupants to rent. When Franklin died in the mid 1930’s, his wife took over running the hotel until 1946. It was then sold to the Bruner family who changed the name to The Osage Beach Lodge, and ran it until 1960 when the hotel closed.  From the early 2000’s through the 2010’s the hotel was used a root beer factory until the property sold in 2014.
